affordable solutions for energy efficiency
Mrs E. at Bedhampton: “I was concerned at first that my windows were being fitted by one company and the front door by another, but I got exactly what I wanted and it worked out perfectly. Much cheaper than other quotes that I’d had, too.”

Mr & Mrs C. at Bedhampton: “Our quotation included everything that we asked for and there were two prices to choose from. Both were cheaper than other companies and, when we discussed them with Tom Ponsford, we decided on the cheaper of the two and saved even more. The windows were fitted without a hitch and exactly as we were promised. I would thoroughly recommend!”

advice on insulation and double-glazing

There are many ways that you can improve your home insulation, from simple draught-proofing measures to filling cavity walls. Some home fuel suppliers operate government-subsidised insulation schemes which can be arranged through your home fuel supplier.

Depending on your circumstances, 100% local authority grants may be available - to see if you are eligible, go to www.freeinsulation.co.uk.

Some insulating materials, such as pipe lagging and loft insulation, can be bought from DIY stores and builders merchants, and fitted by a handyman/handywoman although sometimes tradespersons have to be employed.

Occasionally, though, measures to improve insulation require the specialist advice that EnAsCo can offer. For example; many chalet-bungalows that were built before the 1980’s have little insulation. This results in expensive radiated heat loss in the winter and uncomfortable heat gain during the summer.

Effective insulation reduces fuel bills (and the “carbon footprint”), improves comfort levels in all seasons and, in most cases, cuts down noise levels. EnAsCo can provide a free inspection and arrange for any work to be carried out by qualified contractors.

Replacing single-glazed or, in some cases, poorly double-glazed windows and doors with up-to-date efficient ones is obviously a more expensive option, but careful consideration can bring savings.

EnAsCo provide a consultancy service to guide you.

We do not use sharp tactics, pester or intimidate you! We visit to assess your requirements and provide CAD drawings with design options that will suit your home, while accurately taking into consideration all Building Regulations. Because we are not tied to a single company, we use our knowledge to source the best-performing products for the best prices and then we present them to you. This leaves you free to chose or compare them with quotations from others.

All work is FENSA approved and has guarantees that are supported by independent insurance companies.

If you place an order with us, we liaise with you and the contractors throughout to ensure a smooth installation.

You do not have to put down a deposit and payment is made after a satisfactory installation. And that is all you pay. Our fees are then paid by the contractors, who save on advertising expenses and overheads. There are no hidden extras.
